I am originally from Georgia and have spent most of my life in Atlanta. In 2007, I graduated from Agnes Scott College with a B.A. in International Relations and German. I worked as a paralegal for 5 years, helping employees who were wrongly terminated due to discrimination and/or retaliation. In 2015, I received my J.D. from Georgia State University. While in law school, I clerked for the Honorable Vincent Hill at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. I also had the opportunity to volunteer at Central Outreach and Advocacy Center in Atlanta, assisting unhoused individuals in obtaining housing, healthcare, and identification.
My work before and during law school solidified my goal of helping people when they need it most. After law school, I represented individuals in Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcies before joining a large insurance defense firm. While at my previous firm, I helped create and implement a bankruptcy and insolvency department. After a few years of defending insurance companies, I came to my senses and remembered why I wanted to practice law. I joined Parnall Law because I want to represent those in need.
After years of living hours away from nature, I am excited for all the outdoor activities New Mexico has to offer. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, camping, yoga, and skiing (though not very well). I have a poorly trained mutt, Sassafras, that rules the house.
