Cody W. Booker, J.D. joined the Parnall Law Team as a Law Clerk (admission pending) in 2019. Originally from LaSalle, Illinois, he went to LaSalle-Peru Township High School where he played baseball, football, and wrestled. Following high school, Mr. Booker attended Upper Iowa University in Fayette, Iowa, on a full-tuition, academic and athletic scholarship. He played four years of NCAA Division II Baseball for the Peacocks, while earning his Bachelor of Science in Biology and minoring in General Business.
Cody was actively involved on campus and in the Fayette community as well. He served his peers as Vice President and President of the Student Government Association and represented the entire student body on the UIU Board of Trustees. He also coached Starmont High School’s baseball team after graduating.
Mr. Booker discovered his passion for the law and received his Juris Doctor from Northern Illinois University College of Law. He was employed as a law clerk throughout his law school tenure at an Illinois law firm with offices in Chicago, St. Charles, and DeKalb. While attending NIU, Mr. Booker was honored on the Dean’s List for his academic excellence. Mr. Booker also gained valuable practical legal skills while representing underprivileged clients through NIU’s clinical law program.
Mr. Booker embodies competitive spirit and passionately represents every one of his clients to achieve the best possible outcome in each case. He truly understands what it means to be an underdog, and he takes great pride in leveling the playing field for injured clients.
